Maastricht Wine Estate

Nestled on Tygerberg Valley Road, Nieuw Maastrecht, Cape Town (7551), Maastricht Wine Estate is a charming, family-owned winery steeped in the vineyards of the Durbanville Valley, just minutes from the Atlantic coast.

Founded and nurtured by the Louw family, the estate has been cultivating grapes for over three decades—and since 2010 has bottled its own label, earning recognition for its Sauvignon Blanc, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and other varietals.

Visitors are welcome in the recently-renovated tasting room, where warm hospitality meets quality wine. You can savour a flight of wines, enjoy a cheese & charcuterie platter or try traditional Dutch bitterballen while soaking in vines and views of the valley and distant sea-breeze-cooled slopes.
