Educational programs extend beyond the centre—initiatives like the Livestock Guarding Dog Program place Anatolian shepherd dogs on farms in predator areas to help minimize conflict in a non-lethal, sustainable way. Since 2005, over 387 dogs have been placed, protecting more than 600,000 hectares.
