The Malherbe family has stewarded this estate since 1903—today, fourth-generation winemaker François Malherbe carries on the legacy in the very same cellar where his great-grandfather once worked. The estate's name, Eikehof, honors these signature oak trees. Spread across 23 hectares, the vineyards are accompanied by fragrant peach orchards and hold South Africa’s oldest block of Semillon bush vines dating back to 1902. Eikehof produces a refined range of six varietals—Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon, Merlot, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon—with offerings that include a rosé, a port-style Cape Ruby, and an exclusive Premium Bush Vine Semillon from the 1902 vineyard.
